The honest version
AI is not climbing a tree, running a chainsaw, or telling you whether that oak is coming down on the house next door. That's your crew, your judgment, and it should stay that way. What AI takes off your plate is everything around the cutting: the quote for a removal you priced out at the curb, the storm-call customer who needs an update because three other jobs came in ahead of them, the crew note about a hung limb that someone has to remember before the next visit.
Most tree service owners have tried AI casually: maybe you've had it clean up a text or write a quick post for the company page. Few have it actually built into how the business operates. That's the gap, because tree work runs on scattered information more than most trades realize: a quote scribbled on a pad, a photo of a damaged roof texted to three different people, a follow-up that was supposed to happen last week and didn't.
What a tree service owner actually uses AI for
- Quotes in minutes, not that night. Describe what you saw on the walk-around, like you'd tell your foreman, and AI drafts the written estimate in your pricing structure. You check it, you send it.
- Storm-call follow-ups that actually happen. When a storm hits and the calls stack up, AI drafts the "you're on the list, here's roughly when" message in your voice, so nobody falls through the cracks while you're running crews.
- Job and hazard notes that don't disappear. Turn a quick voice note from the field into a clean record attached to the job: what was flagged, what needs a second look, what the customer asked about. No more digging through old texts before the crew shows back up.
- Review requests and seasonal reminders. The "time to schedule your fall pruning" message, the review ask after a clean removal. Marketing you know you should be doing, done in minutes instead of never.
- Reading insurance paperwork and property manager contracts. A damage claim request, a commercial property bid packet, an equipment lease. AI reads it fast and tells you what actually matters before you sign.
The part nobody tells you: the biggest barrier for owners isn't cost or difficulty. It's not knowing where to start. The tools cost about $20/month. What's missing is someone showing you how they fit YOUR jobs and YOUR crew, once, properly.
Why listen to me
I'm not a tech guy selling software. I'm a business owner. I run multiple companies across three locations, and I use AI daily to build the tools and systems they run on: dashboards, trackers, quote calculators, marketing. I got obsessed, figured out what works, and now I teach other owners the same setup.
The whole thing is one flat fee: $997, a few calls, and we build your first real tool together on your actual business. If you don't think it was worth it, full refund. No subscription, no lock-in.
A lot of the storm-call chaos looks like what I set up for landscaping companies: outdoor crews, weather-driven demand, and a pile of quotes that need to go out fast when the calls spike.
