The honest version
AI is not going to treat a termite line or identify what's living under a customer's deck. That's your technicians, and it should stay that way. What AI takes off your plate is the office work that piles up around the treatments: the quote for a one-time rodent job, the renewal reminder for a quarterly contract that's about to lapse, the customer who called about ants again and needs a note added to their file before the next visit.
Most pest control owners have tried AI casually: maybe you've had it clean up a text to a customer or write a quick post for the company page. Few have it actually built into how the business operates. That's the gap, because pest control runs on repeat paperwork more than most trades realize: every account has a renewal date, every one-time job needs a quote, and every technician note that doesn't make it into the system is a callback waiting to happen.
What a pest control owner actually uses AI for
- Quotes for one-time jobs in minutes. Describe what the technician found on the inspection, like you'd tell your office manager, and AI drafts the written quote in your pricing structure. You check it, you send it.
- Renewal reminders that go out on their own. The quarterly customer whose contract comes up next month? AI drafts the renewal note in your voice, timed right, so it's not riding on someone remembering to check a spreadsheet.
- Route and technician notes that don't disappear. Turn a quick voice note or text from a tech into a clean record attached to the account: what was treated, what to watch next visit, what the customer asked about. No more digging through old texts before a callback.
- Review requests and seasonal reminders. The "ants showing up again this spring, want us to come early" message, the review ask after a clean job. Marketing you know you should be doing, done in minutes instead of never.
- Reading product labels and supplier paperwork. A new chemical's label requirements, a distributor contract, a licensing renewal notice. AI reads it fast and tells you what actually matters before you sign or apply.
The part nobody tells you: the biggest barrier for owners isn't cost or difficulty. It's not knowing where to start. The tools cost about $20/month. What's missing is someone showing you how they fit YOUR accounts and YOUR routes, once, properly.
Why listen to me
I'm not a tech guy selling software. I'm a business owner. I run multiple companies across three locations, and I use AI daily to build the tools and systems they run on: dashboards, trackers, quote calculators, marketing. I got obsessed, figured out what works, and now I teach other owners the same setup.
The whole thing is one flat fee: $997, a few calls, and we build your first real tool together on your actual business. If you don't think it was worth it, full refund. No subscription, no lock-in.
The renewal side of pest control looks a lot like what I set up for pool service companies: recurring accounts that need a reminder on a schedule, not whenever someone happens to notice the date.
